In order to increase production and meet health requirements stipulated by the General Federation of Poultry Producers, The Egyptian Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation began issuing licenses to poultry farms last month
26,000 new operational licenses issued to develop the country's poultry sector, on November 5th, which is to to develop animal production and stop poultry farm violations.
Total annual production reaches 1 billion birds every year and total investments estimated at 25 billion Egyptian pounds ($2.6 billion) and approximately seven billion eggs a year.
The new licenses will not only increase local production and the number of workers, but also bring a big impact on fodder industry and poultry meat factories.
